I got shafted with a number because there's some aussie dude named charlie delta with a space who got the .../id/charliedelta address before I did :?

You can add underscores and such if you want or OO or whatever. I had the same issue.

You can create a customized Steam URL. Go into Edit Your Profile and about a third of the way down is a line called Custom URL. Fill in the blank, Grifster!
